an awkward silence is...
something i feel is a plain... a serious... a horror atmosphere...
there is no sounds by both parties... that kind of silence makes me at a loss sometimes... haha...
i personally feel this silence is much more awkward on a telephone... ee yer!!!
guess most of us experience that...
my own solutions to it are...
don't say somethings that only let the person answer "yes" or "no"
try to ask an open questions...
and i will try to answer ppl's questions with an least a sentence...
try to find topics that interests the both parties...
a sincere compliment helps too... although i seldom do so ^^
we are still learning to be a human beings anyway... 是不是？
